Freda Anyanwu
Freda is an entrepreneur and the founder of EBH Africa, with over seven years of experience in business and project management, she leads strategy and design thinking in emerging markets.
While working with the Edo State Skills Development Agency, she was a part of the team that successfully implemented several projects. She led the Entrepreneurship Development unit to drive economic growth in the state by providing entrepreneurial support to over 10,000 small businesses through various initiatives and programs such as the EdoJobs Business Community, the Edo MSME Two (2) Billion Naira Matching Fund with the Bank of Industry (BOI), the Transforming Nigerian Youth Program with Enterprise Development Center and MasterCard Foundation, Edo Online Marketplace with KONGA limited etc.
Freda is a 2022 Mandela Washighton Fellow, she holds a computer science degree from Benson Idahosa University, a business and entrepreneurship certification from Clark Atlanta University in the USA, she is also a certified Project Management Professional from Project People Nigeria.
Freda is a multiple award winning entrepreneur from SME100 Africa’s 25 under 25, to becoming the recipient of the Young Entrepreneur of the year 2020 by The Entrepreneur Africa Award, to being featured as one of Nigeria’s Enterprising Youth under 30 by the ANALAWGY Magazine amongst other recognitions.
